I have worked for nearly 20 years as a professor in Tax and Commercial Law in the Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki Finland in the department of Commercial Law. I have practiced as an independent tax consultant and income tax specialist. I advise small and medium size companies and family-owned businesses and their owners in tax related questions and company transactions.
My expertise is in the small-business income tax matters and giving advice in the tax related questions for the owner-entrepreneurs. I have written several principal publications, textbooks and scientific articles in the area of income tax law in Finland. In my tax blog I focus on interesting tax related matters from the business-owner point of view.
